When disaster strikes, clean drinking water may not be readily available. Your normal water supply could be disrupted in various ways; power outages, bacterial contamination, infrastructure damage, etc. Without a sufficient water supply, sanitation issues may arise, which can cause another disaster through the spread of disease. You should always have an ample supply of stored water available for emergency situations and the means to purify and filter water.
For water storage an 8 ounce bottle of Purinize will treat a 55 gallon storage container. In an emergency situation you can fill your bath tub with water and add Purinize, or even use water from your swimming pool or hot tub.
As Purinize does not lose effectiveness, once water is treated with Purinize, the agglutinated particulates will descend to the bottom of your storage container. If stored properly, the water will remain safe to drink for years.

Purinize comes in a convenient, lightweight 2 ounce pocket size bottle which will treat approximately 60 liters of water. Simply add Purinize to your water bottle and filter out the agglutinated particulates. If a filtration media is not available wait for the deposition process and pour or scoop the clarified water into another container.
After researching several portable filtration devices, we chose the Sawyer Mini Water Filter to be used in conjunction with our water purifier product. The Sawyer-Mini is lightweight and extremely convenient to use in the field. This portable filtration device comes with a collapsible water bag or can be screwed onto most plastic water bottles. Using the same technology as dialysis, the Sawyer Mini Water Filter is rated to 0.1 micron absolute, weighs only 2 ounces, and filters up to 100,000 gallons!

Here's why Purinize is more effective, versatile and completely different from other portable water treatments and purifiers like Iodine, Chlorine, Chlorine Dioxide, and even UV devices (ultra-violet radiation)?
Purinize is the only non-toxic water treatment that is able to both clarify and disinfect contaminated water. Chemical-based products like Iodine, Chlorine, and Chlorine Dioxide, as well as UV devices, are disinfectant-only water treatments. These water treatment and purifier products are not able to assist in the removal of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) pesticides, herbicides & fungicides, hazardous industrial chemicals, pharmaceuticals & drugs, or heavy metals. All of these water treatment and purifier products become less effective as the turbidity of water increases.
According to the NHMRC (National Health & Medical Research Council), before adding a disinfectant to water, to increase the efficiency of disinfection, the physical quality (particularly turbidity and pH) of the water should first be improved to decrease the likelihood that disease-causing organisms or pollutants will be harbored in suspended matter.
Through a process referred to as flocculation, Purinize, when added to water causes dissolved, invisible impurities, like dirt, organic waste, and micro-organisms to come out of suspension and agglutinate or clump together, becoming insoluble and thus, filterable.
Purinize will disinfect and clarify virtually any fresh water source within minutes. After flocculation, the process of agglutination (clumping) the additional process of filtration is suggested for removal of agglutinated particulates; but the need for specific pore size or special filter media is not necessary as a paper coffee filter, t-shirt, portable water filtration device or base-camp filtration unit will suffice in real field conditions.
In the event that a filtration method is not available, after a short wait time (depending on turbidity), the agglutinated particulates, through gravity and the deposition process, will descend to the bottom of your water container allowing you to scoop or pour the clarified water into another container.
