This highly compressed ceramic filter has an absolute pore size of 0.2 micron. It physically traps sediment and suspended particulates as treated water moves through the gravity system.
PURINIZE® performs the chemical contaminant reduction step before filtration. This ceramic filter provides the finishing step by removing visible sediment formed during treatment.
Compatibility
Designed as a replacement filter for compatible PURINIZE® gravity bucket systems and the PURINIZE® DIY Gravity Water Treatment and Filter Kit.

Replacement Schedule
Replace the ceramic filter every 12 months or after approximately 1,000 gallons of use, whichever comes first. Actual replacement timing can vary with water quality and usage.
Filter Care
Rinse the filter with clean water after use. If the flow remains slow, gently scrub the outside surface with the abrasive side of a clean sponge. Never use soap or detergent on the ceramic filter.
