Purinize is an all-natural solution of concentrated mineral salts and purified water. The Purinize mineral extraction and water purification processes are protected under U.S. patent 4,776,963.
Purinize purifies fresh water in a four-part process:
Purinize's superiority is obvious when compared to other common portable water treatment products. Unlike other products, Purinize does not contain harmful, synthetic chemicals These chemicals are not safe for extended use and are significantly less effective than Purinize.
According to the NHMRC (National Health & Medical Research Council), before adding a disinfectant to water, to increase the efficiency of disinfection, the physical quality (particularly turbidity and pH) of the water should first be improved to decrease the likelihood that disease-causing organisms or pollutants will be harbored in suspended matter.
Purinize will clarify virtually any fresh water source within minutes as described in our four-part process.
The additional process of filtration is suggested for removal of agglutinated particulates; but the need for specific pore size or special filter media is not necessary as a paper filter, t-shirt or any portable water filtration device will suffice in real field conditions.
In the event that a filtration method is not available, after a short wait time (depending on turbidity), the particulates, through gravity and a process referred to as deposition, will descend to the bottom of your water container allowing you to scoop or pour the clarified water into another container.
Add the suggested amount of Purinize to your water. Mix well and wait a few minutes before consumption. We recommend using a 1 micron water filter (or smaller), such as the Sawyer Mini Water Filter, in conjunction with Purinize for the complete removal of fine particles, debris, and neutralized precipitates.
The required wait time before consumption is just a few minutes, regardless of particles or debris still in the water. It is recommended that questionable water sources are both pre-treated and filtered for removal of debris and particulates and to achieve maximum safety. When adding Purinize to a water source, it can take anywhere from 24-72 hours to notice any precipitates settled to the bottom of your water container. This does not mean that it isn’t safe to drink. Purinize starts neutralizing contaminants as soon as it’s added to water.
PLEASE NOTE: As Purinize is added to water, you may notice the water become slightly cloudy. This is normal and is cause by dissolved impurities coming out of suspension ( see Question “How does Purinize work”).
Purinize is 100% natural and completely safe to use on a continual basis.
Purinize is an all-natural mineral salt solution that does not contain carbon, which means that it won't rot. Because of this, Purinize will remain effective for many years, this makes Purinize the perfect solution for treating stored water. Purinize should be stored in a dry place between 45-95F.
Purinize has been found to eliminate or reduce up to 99.95%** the following pathogens:
Purinize has been found to reduce up to 99.95%** of contaminants in the following categories:

*Purinize begins to work immediately when added to water as contaminates are rendered inert. (see "How Purinize Works")As with any water treatment product, if water is suspected to be highly contaminated, additional solution and additional wait time may be required.
