The simplest way to understand PURINIZE® is to watch it work.

When PURINIZE® is added to fresh water, its ionic minerals dissolve and become part of the water. They immediately begin interacting with whatever is present. Contaminants that were previously invisible, dissolved, or chemically active become neutralized (rendered inert or reduced to meet safe guidelines), coagulated, and visible. They precipitate, or clump, together and settle to the bottom as sediment.

The Five-Stage Process

PURINIZE® works through a natural sequence of ionic mineral chemistry. First, ionic dissolution occurs as the minerals dissolve into the water and begin interacting through charge. Second, neutralization takes place as unwanted or harmful elements are bound, oxidized, or converted. Third, precipitation causes these substances to become insoluble or inert. Fourth, coagulation causes insoluble particles to clump together. Fifth and finally, sedimentation allows those inert particles to settle to the bottom.

If you are storing water for later use, filtering out the inert residue simply keeps your water visually clear and free of any settling particles.

In the upper chamber you add your fresh water and PURINIZE®. About the Sediment
